A costly weekend of dealing drags the 49ers to a D-.

When the story of this class is written, it opens with RJ Oben at pick 174, a reach of 53 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Edwards falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

The veteran additions, Tre'Davious White chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
