Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Bears came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.

The Arnold pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, running back and other spots still on the board. Every board in the league had Nugent lower, and that gap is the story.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Landing Grimes that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

In the end it comes back to Malik Nabers, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
