There is reaching, and then there is Jamon Dumas-Johnson at the 174th pick. The Cowboys jumped the board by 71 and dared it to prove them wrong. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Gadsden II steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, wide receiver very much included.
