If confidence were a draft strategy, the Patriots would have aced it. Drew Kendall at No. 238 is 55 spots clear of where he belonged. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

The Blue pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Adding Justin Jefferson by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
