The Bears finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D.

Somebody took the Bears to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. Put together, it is a D.

So much rides on Caleb Williams that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Every board in the league had Rosengarten lower, and that gap is the story.

Adding Justin Reid by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
