The Steelers went off the board in a big way for Hayden Hatten, 72 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Steelers indulged a want in Van Pran while a need in quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots stayed open. Safety was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
