The rest of the league had time to spare on Tanner McLachlan; the 49ers did not wait, grabbing him 32 spots ahead at pick No. 176. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. That Gore Jr. pick is the receipt they will wave around later. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.

In the end it comes back to Ja'Tavion Sanders, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
