A masterclass at the trade table lands the Cardinals a A-.

Whoever sat across the table from the Cardinals should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A-.

The Cardinals indulged a want in Carson while a need in quarterback, running back and other spots stayed open. The cost of the Wilson reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
