There is reaching, and then there is Da'Shawn Womack at the 211th pick. The Cowboys jumped the board by 75 and dared it to prove them wrong. It lands right in the middle: a C+, no more, no less.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want. It is not that Taaffe is a bad player; it is that the Cowboys had louder needs to answer first.

The Wheatley steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.
