A weekend the Bills spent fighting the board, and losing. F.

Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Bills spent the 249th overall pick on Richard Jibunor, a name the board had a full 88 spots lower. The warnings were there, and the F is the bill.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it.

The Solomon pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with linebacker, running back and other spots still on the board. On value alone, Smith-Wade makes the weekend a net positive.

Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

The verdict is harsh because the weekend was, and there is little to argue.
