The Bears cashed the board's mistake on Thrash: B+.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Bears were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. Getting Thrash where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The Murphy pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

With interior defensive lineman and quarterback unsolved, spending premium capital on TE-EDGE is the choice that costs them.
