That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. It is not that Schwesinger is a bad player; it is that the Buccaneers had louder needs to answer first.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up.
