Draft Grade — Buccaneers
Overall B
ValueB NeedB TradesB- FutureA
Good, not great, for the Buccaneers: B.

Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Nadame Tucker at pick No. 116 is 52 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. The bottom line is a respectable B.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. However the rest shakes out, Stowers at that price is a win they earned.

The Quincy Williams deal gives the class an established piece to lean on. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.

Pick Analysis
Pick39 Rnd2 Chris Brazzell II
They let Chris Brazzell II come to them and pounced at pick 39. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick46 Rnd2 Anthony Hill Jr.
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Anthony Hill Jr. in slot 46. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick77 Rnd3 Eli Stowers
The board fumbled Eli Stowers all the way to the 77th pick, and they scooped it up. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick116 Rnd4 Nadame Tucker
A real head-scratcher, Nadame Tucker in the Round 4 slot is miles ahead of his ranking. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick149 Rnd5 Isaiah World
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Isaiah World at Round 5, Pick 9 is the proof. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick155 Rnd5 Jaeden Roberts
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Jaeden Roberts at No. 155. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick195 Rnd6 Ephesians Prysock
A slide stopped in the 195th overall pick, with Ephesians Prysock worth more than the price. It fills a real need, too.
Pick229 Rnd7 Luke Altmyer
The board had cheaper options than Luke Altmyer at the Round 7 slot, and it noticed. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
