Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Buccaneers spent pick 195 on Patrick Payton, a name the board had a full 42 spots lower. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

That Miller pick is the receipt they will wave around later. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
