Draft Grade — Buccaneers

Nobody dealt better than the Buccaneers this weekend: B. Whoever sat across the table from the Buccaneers should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
The Grimes pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
Allen falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Jordyn Tyson
In No. 32 they get a home-run threat at receiver, outstanding value to boot.
Pick54
Rnd2
CJ Allen
A tidy bit of business in the Round 2 slot, where CJ Allen graded well above the range. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick64
Rnd2
R Mason Thomas
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for R Mason Thomas. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick86
Rnd3
Kenyon Sadiq
Kenyon Sadiq in slot 86 is fair value, right on his grade. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick200
Rnd6
Tony Grimes
Tony Grimes in pick No. 200 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
