With interior defensive lineman, offensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them. The cost of the Johnson reach is exactly the players who went right after him. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
