Call it larceny. Quinn Ewers sat on the board until the 157th overall pick, and the Buccaneers did not need to be asked twice. For now it grades a C+, with the swing picks left to settle the rest.

The cost of the Griffith reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

So much rides on Jalon Walker that the real verdict is a season or two away.
