Starks should have been long gone. The Buccaneers pounced, and earned a B.

The Buccaneers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Malaki Starks, the No. 27 name on the board, in Round 2, Pick 24. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The offensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

They bet on numbers rather than a single high pick. The back end got a real overhaul.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the offensive lineman spot they never got to.
