Draft Grade — Buccaneers
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
The Buccaneers checked most of the boxes and earned a B-.

Boards are made to be trusted, and the Buccaneers shredded theirs for Roderick Kearney. He came off 33 spots early, and the room will hear about it. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

However the rest shakes out, Washington at that price is a win they earned. A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want.

They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.

Pick Analysis
Pick13 Rnd1 Kenyon Sadiq
In pick 13 they get a moveable chess piece at tight end, reach and all. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick44 Rnd2 CJ Allen
CJ Allen in the Round 2 slot lands just on the right side of the ledger. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick75 Rnd3 A'Mauri Washington
Nice patience on A'Mauri Washington, who had no business lasting to the 75th pick. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick113 Rnd4 Derrick Moore
Derrick Moore in No. 113 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick151 Rnd5 Jacob Rodriguez
A market-rate linebacker, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Jacob Rodriguez. Stacking talent where they were already deep.
Pick192 Rnd6 Roderick Kearney
Roderick Kearney in the 192nd overall pick is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick229 Rnd7 Peyton Bowen
Peyton Bowen at slot 229 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
