Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Buccaneers spent the 86th overall pick on DeMonte Capehart, a name the board had a full 46 spots lower. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

The Peterson pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
