The Buccaneers lost the trade table, and the D tells the story. It is the swing that defines the weekend: Kaimon Rucker in the Round 7 slot, a good 96 spots before the room expected him. It grades a D, and the process earned it.
The Leonard value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Spending an early pick on linebacker with tight end and running back open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.
That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
