You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Buccaneers did exactly that with J.J. Weaver in slot 237. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Moore at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. It is not that Perkins Jr. is a bad player; it is that the Buccaneers had louder needs to answer first.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
