Draft Grade — Buccaneers
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedB- TradesC FutureB
A respectable, level-headed haul for the Buccaneers: B-.

For all the boxes ticked, the Buccaneers skipped the loudest one: offensive lineman is exactly as bare as it was.

The Gordon II value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend. Every board in the league had Egbuka lower, and that gap is the story.

Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

Pick Analysis
Pick19 Rnd1 Emeka Egbuka
In pick No. 19 they get a difference-maker at receiver, reach and all. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick85 Rnd3 Andrew Mukuba
Nothing to complain about; Andrew Mukuba went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick90 Rnd3 Darius Alexander
No drama and no debate, Darius Alexander went about where he belonged in the Round 3 slot. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick121 Rnd4 Jeffrey Bassa
They took Jeffrey Bassa at par in slot 121, which is nothing to complain about. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick127 Rnd4 Jacob Parrish
Jacob Parrish at No. 127 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick157 Rnd5 Jah Joyner
No edge and no loss on Jah Joyner in pick 157; it is a wash and a sensible one. It fills a real need, too.
Pick191 Rnd6 Ollie Gordon II
Ollie Gordon II at the 191st overall pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick235 Rnd7 Ricky White III
The board had Ricky White III higher than Round 7, Pick 19, and the wide receiver fell to them anyway. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
