Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Buccaneers spent pick No. 235 on Solomon Tuliaupupu, a name most had 78 spots down the list. A weekend of give and take that grades a C-.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. With tight end and quarterback unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them.

If Kayden McDonald and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
