Somebody in slot 229 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Buccaneers sat still while Jermod McCoy, the No. 8 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Styles pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at tight end, quarterback and other spots.

On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with interior defensive lineman the one that mattered most. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
