The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Chargers watched Kaleb Johnson slide 110 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

If Slackman pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
