Paul Jr. should have been long gone. The Cowboys pounced, and earned a B.

You could see the war room lean forward. Chris Paul Jr. at the 209th overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
