You build a draft on nights like this. M.J. Devonshire had no business being available in slot 211, and the Lions did the only sane thing and turned in the card. The bottom line is a respectable B.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. If Muasau pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The phones were busy but the ledger stayed level.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
