The Jaguars treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending Round 7, Pick 32 on Stephen Dix Jr. a full 177 spots early.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. That Stockton pick is the receipt they will wave around later. With interior defensive lineman unsolved, spending premium capital on edge rusher is the choice that costs them.

The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
