A masterclass at the trade table lands the Bills a B. Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Bills spent the Round 5 slot on Sam Hartman, a name most had 95 spots down the list. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The safety hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
The Bills paired the rookies with proven help, Marlon Humphrey leading the way. However the rest shakes out, Devonshire at that price is a win they earned.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
