The Browns let Knox fall into their laps, and walked away with a B+.

Whoever sat across the table from the Browns should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

That is a tight end worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
