The Browns found their guy under center in Daniels: D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Browns shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. Put together, it is a D.

The whole projection now runs through Jayden Daniels; hit there and everything else looks smarter. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

They banked enough surplus on McGlothern to cover a lot of smaller sins.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
