The Browns fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B+.

The Browns ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. They are betting Lomu proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
