The Browns cashed the board's mistake on Smith-Wade: D+.

The board owed the Browns one, and it paid up: Chau Smith-Wade, the No. 162 name on the board, sitting there at Round 7, Pick 11 like a gift left on the doorstep. The process wobbled, and the D+ is where it lands.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
