Best value of the weekend goes to the Browns for Allen: B-.

The board owed the Browns one, and it paid up: CJ Allen, the No. 31 name on the board, sitting there at the 147th pick like a gift left on the doorstep.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Lance has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They went 5 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
