The Browns fleeced the room on the phones and earned a A-.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Browns were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Igbinosun reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
