Best value of the weekend goes to the Browns for Mincey: D-. Somebody in pick No. 248 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Browns sat still while Zavier Mincey, the No. 159 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.
The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Robinson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.
The Browns paired the rookies with proven help, Will Anderson Jr. leading the way.
In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
