Simon should have been long gone. The Browns pounced, and earned a A-.

When a board-topper like Cody Simon slides to pick No. 215, you do not overthink it, and the Browns did not. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

The cost of the Rourke reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
