The phones sank the Browns this weekend: D+.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Browns did exactly that with Jimmy Horn Jr. in pick No. 215.

Landing Judkins that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
