Draft Grade — Browns
Overall B
ValueA NeedB+ TradesC+ FutureB-
The Browns won the night they stopped Barron from sliding. Grade: B.

When a board-topper like Jahdae Barron slides to pick No. 215, you do not overthink it, and the Browns did not.

The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Job largely done: quarterback settled and 8 of 9 of the wish list covered.

They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.

Pick Analysis
Pick8 Rnd1 Travis Hunter
Fair-plus on Travis Hunter, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick39 Rnd2 Cam Ward
A quarterback of that caliber at the 39th pick is the definition of value, full stop. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick70 Rnd3 Ashton Jeanty
They will replay Ashton Jeanty at slot 70 for years; that is how good the value is. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick91 Rnd3 Wyatt Milum
They barely believed it either: Wyatt Milum still on the board at Round 3, Pick 27. The roster fit checks out.
Pick106 Rnd4 Tre Harris
Circle this one: Tre Harris at the 106th overall pick is a fall that decides a draft. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick186 Rnd6 Josaiah Stewart
They robbed the room for Josaiah Stewart here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick201 Rnd6 Dylan Fairchild
Dylan Fairchild at pick No. 201 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick215 Rnd7 Jahdae Barron
Taking Jahdae Barron in No. 215 is close to grand larceny; a cornerback that good had no business lasting this long. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick216 Rnd7 T.J. Sanders
A top-tier interior defensive lineman at a bargain, T.J. Sanders in the 216th pick, plain and simple. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick225 Rnd7 Malachi Moore
Steal is underselling it; Malachi Moore at pick 225 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
