Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Eric Singleton Jr. got past him. The Browns do not have to explain a thing at the 107th pick.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They will need Weeks to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The Weeks pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots still on the board.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
