After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Broncos committed. J.J. McCarthy is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Travis has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the linebacker spot they never got to.
