The Broncos answered their biggest question with Penix Jr.. Grade: B.

After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Broncos committed. Michael Penix Jr. is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

Hartman has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
