Draft Grade — Broncos
Overall B+
ValueA- NeedB TradesC+ FutureA
Grand theft in Round 3, Pick 21: the Broncos steal Henderson and grade out a B+.

Call it larceny. TreVeyon Henderson sat on the board until pick 85, and the Broncos did not need to be asked twice. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. The Kris Jenkins pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.

Pick Analysis
Pick39 Rnd2 Tyler Warren
A top-tier tight end at a bargain, Tyler Warren in No. 39, plain and simple. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick85 Rnd3 TreVeyon Henderson
TreVeyon Henderson in the 85th overall pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick119 Rnd4 Xavier Restrepo
Value with a capital V on Xavier Restrepo in slot 119, a genuine coup. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick122 Rnd4 Jeffrey Bassa
No drama and no debate, Jeffrey Bassa went about where he belonged in pick No. 122. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick197 Rnd6 Chase Lundt
Chase Lundt in the 197th pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick208 Rnd6 Jaylen Reed
Jaylen Reed in Round 6, Pick 32 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
