The Broncos won the night they stopped Smith from sliding. Grade: B.

Somebody in No. 195 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Broncos sat still while Brashard Smith, the No. 110 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

Griffith has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Linebacker was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
