Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Broncos were there to profit. Matthew Golden, the No. 14 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick 51. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Linebacker was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
