You build a draft on nights like this. Devin Neal had no business being available in No. 114, and the Broncos did the only sane thing and turned in the card. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with linebacker chief among the fixes. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
