Thirty-one other rooms let Jake Majors slide, and the Broncos were the ones holding the card at pick 190. Highway robbery. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They will need Hemingway to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
