The rest of the league had time to spare on Zy Alexander; the Broncos did not wait, grabbing him 39 spots ahead at pick No. 163. It grades a D+, and the process earned it.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Landing Fifita that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through linebacker. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
