Nobody had Joey Slackman this high, and it is not close. The Broncos reached 90 spots to get him at Round 6, Pick 15.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is James. That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
